NHCC Founding Pastor Ken Walker
Ken Walker is the current and founding pastor of New Hope Community Church in
St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. He and his wife Fay have been ministering to the Edmonton area since the late 1960's.
Ken has been admitted to the degrees of: Bachelor of Theology
, Bachelor of Arts in World Religions, and Master of Divinity. In addition, Ken has undergone continuing
education courses at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago
and Regent College .
He began his walk with Jesus Christ while
attending Burnaby South High School through the
influence of his friend John Fluevog.
He has served on pastoral teams at: Sherwood Park Alliance Church,
Central Baptist Church, Castledowns Community Church, and McKernan Christian
Church. Ken was a public educator at Edmonton City Center Church
Corporation, and has served on the
board of The Rotary Club in St. Albert, Alberta.
Ken is a member in good standing with the Congregational Christian Churches in
Canada and serves as Padre and as a Board member with the
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 271. Additionally he is active with the St. Albert Chamber of Commerce.
Pastor Walker's ministerial services are frequently called upon
by: The St. Albert Funeral Home & The St. Albert Chamber of Commerce. He ministers to the elderly by conducting chapel services at:
Ironwood Estates &
The Youville Home.
Ken offers presentations to the public on subjects including: career transitions,
emergent counseling needs, and corporate ethics. He is also available for wedding and funeral ceremonies.
